Transportation Coordinator - Rail (Supply Chain new grads encouraged to apply)

Where will you work: On site 3 days a week /Hybrid 2 days a week. FishHawk (13830 Circa Crossing Drive Lithia, Florida 33547)

As a transportation coordinator you will coordinate and maintain Mosaic's rail rate and route system for all product lines and/or geographies in North America. Working with multiple departments you will be instrumental in rate negotiation and route optimization. You will thrive in this role if you have a customer-centric and analytical mindset.

What you'll do?

• Engage in the negotiation of rail transportation contracts
• Facilitate and manage the details of rail transportation contracts and tariffs
• Develop logistic and commercial relationships with multiple rail service providers across product lines.
• Troubleshoot shipping errors for Ship & Receive/Distribution Services
• Work with the accounts payable team to research and resolve rail freight discrepancies
• Assist and support with ad hoc reports, comparative analysis, analytical support and rail shipping guidance and direction for internal customers (Sales, Warehousing and Supply Chain)
• Represent Rail Transportation on cross-functional projects; provide support for IT initiatives & assist with developing negotiation strategy across all Class 1 railroad relationships
• Train and coach employees on rate and route mechanics and how to use SAP for rail requirements and promote continuous process improvement
  
  What you'll need?
  
  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • A minimum of three years experience in supply chain, operations, transportation, or logistics
  • Ability to read and understand rail contracts and tariffs
  • Knowledge in transportation/ traffic management
  • Proficient in MS Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    
    Bonus points if you have the following:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or related field
    • Working knowledge of SAP and/or rail industry software
