Job Description:
Description: Lead Avionics Mechanic (AOG)- responsible for
repairing all company aircraft Maintenance Issues with an emphasis
on avionics systems and wire repair. Consistently demonstrates a
high degree of expertise in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft
mechanical and electrical systems. Must be able to work
independently and possess a high level of initiative for the
research, troubleshooting, and repair of all aircraft issues. The
goal of this AOG Avionics group is to build a network for MEL,
Chronic items and AOG to keep communication flowing from stations.
In theory, this will improve communication for particular items and
improve company response time to our of service events. 65% -
Repair aircraft issues with an emphasis on avionics and wire
repairs 10% - Remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or
failed and unsafe working conditions. 10% - During the course of
normal operations, the Avionics Tech. must be prepared to work with
various Company hired agents at sites throughout the world to
procure maintenance services and support, as needed to repair/fix
the aircraft. 5% - Understand aircraft maintenance histories and
possess the skills to execute effective maintenance actions. 5% -
When the Avionics Tech. is exercising his/her authority under the
RII provisions of this manual, he/she will be directly responsible
to the Director of Quality Control 5% - Attend all Company training
classes as assigned by the AOG Team Supervisor. Skills: Avionic,

& Qualifications: - Must have 3+ year line maintenance on Boeing
757 and/or 767; with an emphasis on Avionics - A&P License is a
must - Must be available for 3 day travel for AOG / other events.
