Keymark Corporation of Florida, an aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant, is actively interviewing bilingual (English / Spanish) applicants for Bilingual Environmental Health and Safety Technician at the Lakeland manufacturing plant.--In this role you will be aiding the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in all of the day to day duties and needs within the plant. Your support will be integral to the successful operations of the facility and you will work under the direct supervision of the EHS Manager.Typical working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with periodic night shift requirements. Starting compensation will be hourly pay between $17-$20.25 depending on experience level with a comprehensive benefits package offered. The projected annual earnings working full-time will range from $35,360-$42,120.Some of the Primary Responsibilities for this position include: -----Assist in the execution of employee training program, to include scheduling, monitoring and delivering training.-----Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, local safety regulations and ensure the necessary records are maintained appropriately.-----Assist in coordination and completion of all of EHS audits and inspections on plant operations, reporting back to the EHS Manager.-----Coordinate and manage the inventory of Safety supplies and stock. (PPE, First Aid, EHS Training Supplies and Equipment, etc.)-----Assist in the management of the Company's Safety Data Sheets.-----Assist in the administration of the Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Materials Program.-----Generate reports based on provided data.--- Assist in the administration of the Worker's Compensation Program.-----Occasionally organize meetings for the department, be able to speak to the happenings of the EHS Program.-----Assist in generating preventative safety measures.
