Resumes may be submitted tok.benalcazar@adenacorporation.com.*Drug-Free Workplace*Must be authorized to work in the United States.Position DescriptionAdena Lakeland- Class A CDL/ Semi DriverSummary:The Class A CDL/Semi Driver hauls construction material and equipment used in the construction process to and from various projects, both interstate and intrastate of Florida.Primary Job Responsibilities:--- Loads and unloads various types of heavy equipment using various trucks and trailers--- Hauls structural steel, building materials and permitted loads--- Follows best practices to ensure that loads are secured and safe--- Inspects trucks and trailers for mechanical items and safety issues and performs preventative maintenance on the vehicles--- Operates in compliance with FMCSA safety standards--- Documents and logs work and rest periods in compliance with DOT regulations--- Plans routes and meets delivery schedules--- Ensures all safety devices on vehicles or equipment are in good working order--- Adheres to the companys safety policies to create a safe work environment--- Performs other duties as assignedPM21Position RequirementsAdena Lakeland- Class A CDL/ Semi DriverDesired Qualifications/Skills:--- High School Diploma or GED required--- Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role--- Minimum of five (5) years CDL experience--- Heavy equipment experience required--- Must maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record--- Must maintain Class A CDL and medical card--- Excellent communication skills--- Must possess good time management skills--- Must be self-motivated--- Ability to work in a team environment--- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency--- Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructionsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity EmployerPI187028994
