Keymark is now interviewing PC Support Specialists to support our Business Offices. This is an hourly compensated role, with pay dependent on your experience and capabilities.Typical Monday - Friday work week with one week every 6 weeks of on-call after-hours (weekend coverage).You will provide technical support for all aspects of the IT Department including computer hardware, operating systems, software, and networks. Install and repair printers. Install and configure various software programs on Microsoft Windows. Resolve network connection issues including tracing and re-terminating Ethernet cable. Resolve minor network administration issues. Resolve software issues not related to the administration of production software. Test, repair, and replace phones cellular, digital, IP, and analog. Trace, repair, and re-terminate phone lines. Order some IT-related consumable supplies and peripherals. Fill in for other IT staff responsibilities when they are out of the office.To do this job successfully, you should have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Degree in an IT field. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking. Knowledge of various printer technologies (particularly laser printers) and computer peripherals. Knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of Virtual Machines, Tablets, and Smart Phones. Ability to learn and acquire new technology skills to keep up with changing times. Solid technical knowledge, strong oral and written communication skills, good analytical ability and an understanding of business operations and processes Good interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels, from operational staff to senior executives. Self-directed; ability to be productive, effective and efficient with minimal supervision. Ability to simultaneously manage several tasks.
