dynamic team! This position opening is to be located at our Bartow,

century. Position Description The overall responsibilities of a
Safety Coordinator include:
- Conduct daily observations of plant work areas to identify
potential risk and safety hazards
- Conduct initial safety training orientation to new
associates
- Provide training and coaching on Metromont's Safety
Programs
- Provide training to sub-contractors on Metromont's safety
practices
- Participatein behavioral observations and work with other
observers to improve their skills
- Assis with safety audits and implementation of corrective
action plans
- Investigate safety incidents and participate in Root Cause
Analysis process
- Conduct safe equipment operation training for operators How do

Position Requirements
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Friendly and customer focused
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible with work schedule
- Creative and able to use their imagination to improve existing
processes
- Logical thinker
- Associates Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, or other
related field
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a safety support or management
role
- Prior experience in associate training preferred
- Experience with a Behavior based Safety Program preferred Equal
