Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Director of
Nursing (DON) with Corizon Health at Polk County Central
in Bartow, FL:
all nursing staff, unlicensed assistive personnel and designated
ancillary medical healthcare staff.

- Assists and
supports professional and paraprofessional nursing staff in
provision of patient care.
- Develops and
maintains monthly schedule for nursing staff and nursing support
staff and ensures that sufficient number of nursing staff are
scheduled on each shift with the appropriate skill
nursing practice conforms to state licensure, accreditation, and
regulatory agency requirements in the clinical setting.
- Acts as a
liaison with other operating units, agencies, and outside
