Job Description:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, entering residential loan data into the bank's computer system with appropriate updating, and assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position is expected to perform the specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:

* Provides professional and courteous administrative assistance to the residential Loan Officer and Loan Processor. * Orders third party verifications and services for residential loans. * Orders information required for government loans. * Reviews Borrower Summary Fields and 1003 to verify information is in the system, accurate and signed. * Reviews notes in the conversation log from the Loan Officer and follows any instructions that pertain to Loan Boarding stages of the loan approval process. * Compares 1003, credit report and ID for consistency. * Reviews eFolder to verify all disclosures are present and signed, AUS findings are completed, Income / Asset docs per the loan type are included, Sales contract is in the file on purchase transactions, Spec / Plans are in the file for CPs and Valid ID has been loaded. * Reviews file contacts and enters if applicable. * Checks to see if the selected title company is on internal exclusionary list. Orders title and copies the processor on the order. * Completes the Notice of Intent Date within disclosure tracking. * Adds E-Consent to the eFolder * Reviews lock status and verifies if a change in circumstance is needed. * Checks USPS * Orders Data Verify Drive, TRV, SSA and appraisal. * Reviews flood cert and notifies processor if flood cert needs to be signed and / Change in Circumstance is needed for flood premium. * Creates profile within Horizon on all loans. * Adds notes to conversation log for processor and sends summary email of items completed and for issues discovered during loan boarding. * Submits file to Processor. * Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loan boarding and information. * Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed during peak hours. * Provides on-going training to existing loan boarders and new hire training for new loan boarders. * Ensure that the Bank's policies and procedures, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines are strictly complied with * Provide assistance to other employees by liaising with them through healthy and positive interactions * Be involved in performing marketing endeavors/efforts * Continuously update skills by participating in professional training * Seek opportunities to improve skills through cross-training offered by the Bank * All other tasks, responsibilities or duties, as directed by management

OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

* Requires strong knowledge of personal computer, Microsoft Office and other software used in department. * Must be able to prepare documents and compose business letters and memorandums. * Must have good knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation. * Requires knowledge of office practices, procedures and general office machines. * Requires strong organizational skills and eye for detail. * Must have the ability to keep up with changes within the department and implement at time of change * Must have strong communication skills characterized by excellent writing and speaking skills * Proficient with general office machines and programs to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software that might be utilized in the department * Ability to use the computer efficiently and the capacity to learn new software programs as they are rolled out by the Bank * Must have good knowledge of business English, including spelling and punctuation * Must possess basic English language skills in order to write and speak clearly, and effectively with coworkers and customers * Must be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail * Must be cooperative and willing to assist coworkers and customers on a regular basis * Must have effective listening skills demonstrated by the ability to listen to others talk (without interruption), understand them, and then propose solutions or make contributions based on the points made by others * Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to function well under pressure * Must be able to remain composed under pressure and respond to customer and coworker concerns regularly * Must have a keen eye for detail and follow instructions to the letter * Must be patient and willing to help others in solving problems while maintaining a positive attitude at all times

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

* Must be able to remain seated or work standing in a confined area on a computer for a minimum of four (4) hours each work day * Must be able to constantly use hands and fingers to enter data through or on a computer or answer a phone throughout most of an eight (8) hour shift * Must be able to walk frequently throughout the day to obtain supplies from other areas in the Bank and to cover for other employees, on break or on lunch * Must be able to hear and communicate with coworkers and customers throughout the day * May need to lift up to 25 pounds one to two times a day to perform job. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position may require regular before/after normal business hours, or regular out-of-town travel.

* Must be able to function in a professional, business office environment and act and dress appropriately for same, consistent with the Bank's grooming and dress codes * Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers * Must be willing to function as a team member * Must be willing to demonstrate commitment to CenterState Bank's mission and goals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma or equivalent * Six months to one year of experience in an office environment * Successful completion of in-house training program or approved outside training programs * Good understanding of the bank's products and services.
