If you have a passion for community involvement, this role might be an excellent fit for you.As a Community Engagement and Branding Specialist for PEFCU, you will build and maintain PEFCU''s community brand online - and in the communities we serve.In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our community outreach programs, organizing events, coordinating volunteers, creating and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with our community branding strategies, and developing public relations strategies to support and promote our mission.ResponsibilitiesPercent Responsibility45% Establish, grow, and maintain our community presence - Responsible for identifying, establishing, building, and maintaining PEFCU''s brand in the communities we serve by: Building and maintaining relationships with individuals, community organizations, nonprofits, industry contacts, etc. that support our community goals Meeting with and gathering information from nonprofit organizations to assess their needs, mission, community support and fit within our focus area as potential partners Determining which community and marketing events are appropriate for PEFCU in our operating areas by researching and analyzing relevant data Organizing and participating in marketing and community events to build our community presence and boost brand awareness in all areas of operation Coordinating with branch managers and leaders from operational areas to organize volunteers and execute plans for community involvement initiatives such as walks, food drives, fundraisers, etc. Developing creative outreach strategies for local businesses and serve as community lesion Determining, selecting, and coordinating PEFCU sponsored activities for our communities Researching and establishing future initiatives for community presence such as implementing community outreach programs and establishing a PEFCU community brand25% Establish, grow and maintain our online community presence - Responsible for identifying, establishing, building, and maintaining PEFCU''s community brand online by: Creating and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with PEFCU''s community branding strategies Creating engaging content (text, image and/or video content) for our social media platforms to increase member interaction and community awareness and recognition Engaging with members through the company''s owned digital channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the PEFCU blog, etc.) ''Listening'' on non-owned channels to get a complete perspective of the discussions surrounding PEFCU on social media to help with planning strategic community efforts and content. Establishing and maintaining PEFCU community page on the website Researching and establishing future initiatives for online community presence such as building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, etc. Crafting ''stories'' related to community events, initiatives, and focus areas for blog Capturing and receiving pictures related to community-related efforts and sharing with the marketing team (ex: cancer walk, food drive, etc.). 15% Manage day to day donation and sponsorship request process by: Enhancing and maintaining PEFCU''s donation and sponsorship request process Receiving, reviewing, and responding to all charitable donation and sponsorship requests Working with marketing leadership to determine appropriate level of involvement for sponsorships and donations (examples include monetary support, in-kind donations, etc.) Managing and balancing the established community budget Coordinating with our ''partners'' to ensure proper placement of PEFCU''s logo, outdoor advertising (banners, signage, etc.,), ads, etc. for sponsored community and marketing events Collaborating with marketing team to develop organic and paid digital content that drives member interest in community events or initiatives15% Establish internal events and develop employee communications: Collaborating with our PC team to support their employment branding efforts to help make PEFCU an employer of choice Managing the in-branch philanthropic efforts such as Toys for Tots, school supplies and food drives, special holiday activities, etc. Producing and delivering messages and campaigns on behalf of management and facilitating a dialogue with the people who make up the organization.EducationBachelor''s Degree - preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting, or English or equivalent experienceExperience At least two (2) years in the field of media or community relations Experience creating social and digital content for a professional organizationby Jobble
