Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Direct activities and provide technical assistance to the blending staff.
• Ensure staffing is scheduled appropriately for the coverage needs..
• Assign and prioritize workload within the blending organization.
• Implement a training plan with skill set matrix for identifying flexible work force.
• Be able to formalize job descriptions for blending personnel. Standardizing so that we can train and improve operators.
• Work with QA, planning, and accounting to calculate formulas to fit correct size batches for each line. Minimizing waste and to improve efficiencies of the process.
• Calculate formulas to fit correct size batches for each line.
• Motivate employees for maximum performance.
• Control monthly budget.
• Work with Maintenance Manager to coordinate capital project installation and improvements.
• Adhere to GMPs and Safety Procedure as set forth by rules and regulations.
• Develop and maintaining working standards, policies/procedures, task list, training and job descriptions in conjunction with Human Resources.
• Knows and uses all related safety policies and procedures.
• Central thermal processing activities in the facility.
• Manage/Ensure HACCP compliance.
• Maintain food safety/food defense programs
• Manage PM program and maintenance activities in the processing dept.

  Education and/or Experience
  
  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two years related experience and/or training. Thermo processing knowledge and experience in beverages.
