What You Will Be Doing
The primary responsibilities are design, code, and integration for networking and protocol communications software and drivers. The system integrates multiple network protocols including peer to peer networks, IP, and custom solutions. A candidate for this position must be knowledgeable in all aspects of networking, at the protocol, operating system, application, and mobile layers.
What You Need for this Position
Education: Bachelor'sYears experience: 6+ years of development experience4+ years of UNIX development experience2+ years of Mobile applications experienceYou:Understands complex problems and clearly communicates with teamStrong time management & organization skillsAttention to detail with excellent problem-solving skillsOut of the box thinking and ability to manage multiple competing projects at onceAbility to work in a fast paced, high growth, changing environmentThe Basics: - Design, develop, and troubleshoot networking and communications application- Integrate application logic on standalone, embedded, and module platforms- Partner with key members of the organization to define project architecture- Provide technical input to the design, architecture, and quality of software- Work closely with peer developers to provide overall software domain expertise- Member of the full-stack technical architecture team- Work through issues and escalate appropriately- Pre- and Post- launch, identify barriers to performance, scalability, adaptability, and overall quality from end-customer trials and launch- Must previously be a senior software engineerAdditional Requirements:- Strong knowledge in network architecture- Solid foundation in computer science graph theory- Fluent in UNIX, comfortable in small form-factor computingDevelopment experience with Java and C/C++- Ability to navigate complex integration problems that range across the companys product and technology, including partners legacy tech stacks
