& DUTIES PROJECT A QUALITY IMAGE ? Ensure that your uniforms/dress
complies with company standards and that your appearance is neat
and well groomed. ? Maintain your vehicle and equipment at or above
company image standards. If anything is substandard, address the
issue immediately. ? Vehicles must be safe, well-maintained, clean,
properly decaled and organized. ? All tools must be clean and in
good operating condition. ? Maintain an accurate inventory of all
materials on your vehicle. ? Jobsite must be kept clean at all
times and at the end of each day or completion of work. - Trash is
picked up at all times - All hardscape (walks, driveways, etc.) to
be cleaned at the end of each day and at the completion of the job.
? If you cannot fix the situation yourself, inform your supervisor
as soon as possible. ? Maintain a positive attitude and behave in a
manner that promotes a positive work environment PROVIDE GREAT
SERVICE AND BUILD TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS ? Learn and
comply with Company philosophies, service policies and protocols,
and minimum daily production standards. ? Perform all irrigation
services according to Company policy, standards and protocols. ?
Inform management of any safety issues, customer concerns and
service issues encountered during the day. ? Follow all "special
instructions" on each account. ? Inspect for and advise customers
of potential lawn and landscape issues. 1. Be proactive in bringing
issues or potential problems to a customer?s attention. 2. Create
an action plan to deal with the conditions on each property and
clearly communicate it to the customer. ? Remain in contact with
the office during the day and respond to all communications in a
timely manner. ? Respond to all customer complaints during the
business day received and resolve within 48 hours or at the
customer?s convenience. ? Handle and follow through on every
customer service complaint assigned to you. ? Submit daily service
reports as required by Company standards. 1. Complete service
records in accordance with state and federal regulations. 2.
Accurately document information on reports. 3. Obtain customer
signature on all documents according to Company policy. 4. Attempt
to collect the service charge at the time of service. 5. Maintain
un-serviced accounts list and reschedule missed accounts daily. ?
Foster positive rapport and relationships with customers. NEVER

? Stay informed in regards to all federal, state, and local

techniques, materials and procedures pertaining to industry
products, material and equipment. ? Obtain Company Certification
for irrigation within the required time frame. 1. Cross-training in

Make every attempt to provide Total Customer Satisfaction and
prevent cancellations 1. Provide service on time. 2. Return every
call by a customer the same day received and address their issue
with sincere concern. 3. Provide effective solutions to customer
concerns. 4. Notify management immediately of requests for
cancellations. ? Secure potential prospects by delivering new
business leads to your supervisor and asking for referrals from
established customers. ? Ensure that your individual sales and lead
goals meet or exceed Company sales standards. TECHNICAL
RESPONSIBILITIES ? Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting
irrigation systems and components to ensure they function
efficiently. ? Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical
components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating
existing zones and valves and performing pump repairs. ? Possess or
learn irrigation basic irrigation hydraulic theory and apply it to
daily job functions REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS 1.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience 2. Ability to obtain
required driver?s license and maintain a company-approved driving
record. 3. Written and oral communication skills. 4. Above average
technical aptitude 5. Problem solving and diagnostic skills. 6.
Basic arithmetic ability. 7. Exhibit a willing-to-please, friendly
demeanor, and a professional image at all times. TYPICAL PHYSICAL
AND MENTAL DEMANDS ? Constant (67%-100% of the time) digging,
pushing soil, raking, and sweeping with hand tools; walking,
crawling, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping,
stretching and occasional (0-30% of the time) lifting (up to 50lbs)
? The ability to move freely about the construction site and
between customer locations ? Corrected vision and hearing within
normal range ? Operating power equipment such as trenchers,
including loading and unloading equipment onto trailers. ? The
ability and stamina to work long hours with prolonged exposure to
temperature extremes. ? Working some Saturday schedules to handle
the seasonal work load. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS This job
requires constant contact with the public and other Team Members.
Work is usually performed outdoors and in/on customer property.
Specialists may be exposed to sun, heat, rain, hail, winds, dirt,
cement, grass, shrubs, trees, etc. as well as industry products
during the normal course of conducting business. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
The ideal candidate must possess and demonstrate the ability to
install, operate and trouble-shoot landscape irrigation components
and systems including, but not limited to multi-meters, wire
trackers, trenchers, and other industry equipment. Specialty hand
tools and testing equipment will be purchased by the Company and
issued to the irrigation technician with the understanding that the
technician will be filly responsible for the security, maintenance,
and return of all of the issued tools upon leaving the Company.
