Shipping Receiving Clerk The shipping/receiving clerk is
responsible for the loading or unloading of materials coming in and
packages to be shipped out, incoming logs, sorting and distribution
of intra-company mail and packages, complying with instructions and
prescribed routines and methods or procedures. Essential Duties &
Responsibilities: Use FedEx, UPS, and DHL software to ship packages
domestically and internationally Prepare and/or sign off on
shipping documents (i.e.: bills of lading, invoices, etc.) Adhere
to Export Compliance regulations and utilize government filing
system Verify purchase orders and dates against delivery Track and
maintain record of incoming, registered and outgoing packages Work
from methods sheets, prints quality bulletins, and procedures
Verify incoming shipments accuracy Hand-deliver incoming packages
to appropriate departments/employees Re-address undeliverable mail
bearing incomplete or incorrect address Pick up jobs to be shipped;
weigh and measure packages for correct freight Examine outgoing
packages for appearance; package and seal by hand or machine
Distribute intra-company mail and packages Ability to stand for
long periods of time and lift 50lbs on a regular basis Other Duties
& Responsibilities: Perform or assist with any operations, as
required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality
requirements. Maintain safe work area and comply with safety
procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work area in a
clean and orderly condition. Participate in any variety of meetings
and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain
approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of
knowledge pertaining to new development, requirements and policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: High
School Diploma Working knowledge of pallet jack and hand truck
equipment Forklift Certification a plus Prior experience in
Shipping Receiving role Due to export control rules, must be a US
person. Job Skills: Proficient in Microsoft office Attention to
detail Good organizational skills Demonstrated interpersonal
skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently Team player who
can multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, lean environment while
