Collection System Modeling and Master Planning Technical Manager

Who We Are Looking For:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager who can work independently and as part of a team on sewer system and water distribution master planning. In this role you will manage multi-disciplined project teams from planning through conceptualdesign.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in:

* Collection system planning, including hydraulic modeling and asset management


* Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and other hydraulic modeling software


* Exceptional communication skills


* The ability to interact with clients and stakeholder groups


* Experience managing project teams



This opportunity will lead to increasing levels of management and client development responsibilities as you progress your career within Woodard & Curran. Our expanding backlog of work creates an opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects that contribute to the development of solutions addressing California water issues.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Manage technical direction of project and proposal efforts to meet client and company goals


* Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders


* Supervise and mentor junior staff to successfully complete project assignments


* Participate in Woodward and Curran's internal delivery system improvement programs and engage in our culture of continuous learning


* Coordinate and negotiation with state, local, and federal agencies


* QA/QC review of technical reports and memorandums



What You Will Need to Succeed:

* BS in Civil Engineering, or a related field


* Registered PE license preferred


* 10+ years of experience in collection system planning and/or closely related projects


* Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and other hydraulic modeling software


* Excellent organizational, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills


* Demonstrated ability to develop and manage sewer collection system master planning projects.


* Ability to work independently and on large multi-disciplinary teams.
