Job Description:

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is actively seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our dedicated team at our skilled nursing facility. We are looking for a talented individual to take on the role of Human Resources Coordinator, assisting in the day-to-day operations of our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, including employee morale programs, disciplinary actions, payroll status changes, terminations, resignations, benefits administration, I-9 verification, workers' compensation, disability, and FMLA compliance.
  
• Ensuring strict compliance with regulatory authorities, including the Department of Health, to maintain the highest standards of care.
  
• Managing recruitment needs by identifying open positions, implementing proactive recruitment strategies, conducting applicant screening and interviews.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Minimum of one year of HR experience, with a preference for experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility.
    
  • Experience working with unions is considered a valuable asset.
    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
