Job Description:

0.35PAY RATE: $16.03/HR -Position Summary:Provides advanced customer service work responding to utility billing inquiries and complaints. -Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.Interacts with customers via phones or walk-in to provide water, sewer, and garbage services.Creates new accounts, terminations, and service orders using the software application.Creates adjustments for utility accounts that have leaks or errors.Enter data containing technical terminology and be able to retrieve and interpret data.Prepares forms, various reports, and letters, as required for communication.Performs research to prepare and maintain department records.Collects payments for processing and balances cash report.May perform the work of lead cashier to verify cash reports and assist where needed.Process requisitions for purchases orders, invoices, and related paperwork.Interacts with various utility departments.Use advanced metering analytics to perform data extractions and data diagnostics. -Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
