From preparation to preservation, conveying and packaging, our comprehensive range of technologies captures the freshness, taste, texture, appearance and nutritional value of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team. Working as a member of the Customer Service team, this position primarily provide total customer assistance for internal and external customers for the extractor, ESS, aseptic and Freshn Squeeze businesses. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES The first point of contact for internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring companys internal customers receive adequate level of assistance with Fruit & Juice Solutions order entry process and other related processes or procedures. Provide the highest level of assistance possible to external customers for products, services, prices and all related processes as to order entry and customer service. Answer customers' questions and incoming caller inquiries Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services. Offer solutions. Identify customers requirements to determine what types of products or services best suit their needs. Resolve customers complaints according to guidelines established by the company. Determine validity of complaints. Offer solutions. Prepare and manage paperwork related to sales, such as setting up new accounts, acquiring purchase orders, amending orders and preparing shipping documents. Update and maintain databases of information. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure internal and external customers requests and expectations are met. Estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Schedule/Reschedule orders to consolidate for single shipment to customer. Adjust or verify inventory records. May notify other departments when inventories are low or when filling certain orders would deplete supplies. Responsible to arrange and coordinate all export shipments and prepare all related documents. Prepare and coordinate all task and documentation required for transportation of repair, parts, and/or materials to insure customer commitments are met. Manage activities of international traffic and negotiate arrangements between foreign and domestic shippers. Work with international customers to resolve logistics preferences and arrive at mutual agreements of shipment movement. Coordinate with internal resources and logistics company to expedite emergency orders Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School diploma required One to three years of customer service experience Strong computer applications knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point) Accurate typing and proofreading skills Technical learning aptitude Strong verbal and written communications Functional and technical skills Intermediate verbal and written communications Intermediate telephone and customer communication skills Vaccination status will be verified at hiring Preferred Qualifications Two-year degree in business Experience with JD Edwards BENEFITS JBT Corporation offers the growth potential of a company with a developing technology that is unique in its field, plus frequent company-sponsored events and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage and 401(k) plan.
