Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services at our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. In this role, you will operate radiographic equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patient ailments. Operate and maintain all radiographic or fluoroscopic equipment. Prepare patients and equipment for radiologic exams by positioning patients correctly and adjusting immobilization devices. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to protect patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and adjust work schedules to accommodate patient load. Collaborate with healthcare team members to evaluate radiographic needs. Proficient in using radiographic imaging equipment. Ability to interpret images and technical data. Strong communication and patient care skills. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Valid state licensure as required.
