Lee Health is actively seeking a Certified Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team in Southwest Florida. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will be responsible for the sterilization, preparation, and maintenance of medical instruments and equipment used across our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in patient care. Sterilize and prepare all surgical instruments and equipment following strict protocols. Inspect, assemble, and test medical instruments to ensure functionality and cleanliness. Manage inventory of instruments and equipment to ensure availability for medical procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sterilization procedures and equipment handling. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective clinical operations. Document and maintain clear records of all processed items. Proficiency in the use of sterilization equipment and technologies. Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization standards. Ability to perform detailed equipment inspections. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required.
