Registered Nurse (RN) | Acute Care Location: Orlando, FL Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Behavioral Health & Addiction Services Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid 3 days onsite) We are seeking a senior Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy and reimbursement performance for a national behavioral health and addiction services platform. This role oversees the full revenue lifecycle across a multi-state clinic footprint, with a focus on revenue realization, operational excellence, and reimbursement integrity rather than patient acquisition or sales. The CRO will partner closely with the CFO, clinical and operational leaders, managed care, and compliance to align financial performance with patient access, clinical quality, and long term organizational sustainability across national multi-site opioid treatment programs (MAT/OTP), IOP, and related services. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute an enterprise revenue cycle strategy across Residential, IOP, and MAT/OTP services. Optimize payer mix and reimbursement performance across Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, private pay, and grant funded programs. Support new clinic launches, acquisitions, integrations, and service expansions through scalable revenue infrastructure. Lead all revenue cycle functions, including benefits verification, coding, billing, collections, denial management, and cash acceleration. Improve AR days, DSO, denial rates, and cash collections while ensuring timely, accurate reimbursement. Implement scalable RCM processes, productivity standards, operational controls, and performance dashboards. Lead and develop a high performing revenue organization (billing, collections, credentialing, contracting). Professionalize and evolve payer contracting, including rate negotiations, renewals, standardized terms, and payer relationship management. Oversee OTP specific billing and reimbursement (e.g., MAT bundled services, methadone H0020, J codes). Ensure revenue practices comply with applicable federal and state regulations and payer requirements (e.g., SAMHSA, DEA, CMS, Medicaid, OIG, Joint Commission, ASAM criteria). Partner with Compliance and Legal to mitigate audit exposure, recoupment risk, and payer claw backs. Maintain revenue integrity via internal audits, strong controls, and proactive risk management. Establish and refine KPIs for revenue performance, forecasting, and operational efficiency; leverage analytics for continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with clinical and operational leaders to align revenue execution with patient centered care and regulatory excellence. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on revenue performance, scalability, and long term sustainability. Required Qualifications 10 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare revenue operations and reimbursement management. Direct experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and/or opioid treatment programs. Deep understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial reimbursement, including managed Medicaid. Proven success leading revenue cycle performance in multi site, highly regulated healthcare environments. Strong expertise in denial management, compliance, credentialing, payer contracting, and revenue integrity. Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience professionalizing or transforming payer contracting functions in scaling healthcare platforms. Background in PE backed or rapidly growing multi site healthcare organizations. Familiarity with value based care, bundled payments, and alternative reimbursement models. MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree. Experience with behavioral health EHRs and RCM technology (e.g., Methasoft, Kipu, ZenCharts). Key Competencies Strategic and analytical leadership in regulated reimbursement environments. Revenue cycle transformation and operational execution at scale. Payer negotiation, contracting, and relationship management. Data driven performance management and KPI discipline. Collaborative, mission driven leadership aligned with addiction treatment outcomes. Ability to balance financial performance with clinical integrity and compliance excellence.
