Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
part-time pediatric speech-language pathologist position offers the
opportunity to work onsite in an elementary school setting,
focusing on PreK-5th grade students. Located in Apopka, FL, the
role involves collaborating with another experienced SLP to provide
speech therapy services, supporting a diverse caseload of young
learners. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Florida
Speech-Language Pathologist licensure through the Department of
Health is required. Experience working with pediatric populations,
particularly in an elementary school environment. Ability to manage
a caseload of PreK through 5th grade students. Strong communication
skills and a collaborative approach to supporting student needs.
Flexibility to work onsite two days per week, approximately 15
hours in total. Responsibilities: Provide direct speech therapy
services to elementary-aged children with communication challenges.
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based
on students speech and language needs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
Monitor and document student growth and adjust therapy strategies
as needed. Share caseload responsibilities with another qualified
SLP, ensuring continuity of care and effective intervention.
Location: This contract role is based onsite in Apopka, FL.
