Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
RN Coordinator for the Operating Room Board Runner position to join
our evening shift team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth
operation of our surgical services, coordinating the daily
schedule, and managing real-time operating room assignments. As a
key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to
optimize patient care, efficiency, and safety in our
state-of-the-art operating facilities. Located in the vibrant
community of Brandon, Florida, our hospital is a leader in medical

patient outcomes directly. Manage the operating room schedule to
optimize efficiency and resource utilization. Communicate
effectively with surgical teams to ensure timely patient care.
Monitor and adjust real-time OR assignments based on emergent needs
and changes. Collaborate with staff to resolve conflicts and
enhance workflow. Participate in the development and implementation
of protocols and policies. Ensure compliance with health and safety
guidelines. Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and
manage time effectively In-depth knowledge of operating room
procedures and protocols Proficiency in using medical software for
scheduling and patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Florida. BLS Certification required; ACLS
preferred. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is a
significant plus.
