HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing care to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. This position requires a deep understanding of respiratory therapy modalities and an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Evaluate patient's respiratory conditions through diagnostic tests and assessments. Consult with physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Perform therapeutic procedures to maintain a patent airway, adequate ventilation, and oxygenation. Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and other life support systems. Educate patients and families about respiratory health and ongoing care strategies. Maintain patient records and document therapy progress. Ensure the operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment to deliver quality care. Expertise in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care. Proficient in the use of ventilators and other respiratory care equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
