to find a qualified Home Health RN in Sarasota, Florida, 34238! Job
Title: Home Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse

Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of home
health experience License: Valid state nursing license required
Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Skilled home care experience and
OASIS training. IV skills and wound care experience. Experience
with high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial
infarction, pneumonia, and stroke. Experience in post-operative
care. Valid driver's license and car for home visits. COVID-19
vaccination or exemption documentation. Flu shot or declination
with mandatory mask-wearing while working. Description: Skilled
home health visits will be conducted 6-8 per day. Registered nurses
will perform cardiopulmonary assessments, basic wound care, and ABI
compression dressing. They will also manage wound vac dressings,
Pleurx and Aseptdrain care, and perform foley catheter changes.
Additional tasks include staple and suture removal, glucometer use,
pro-time machine operation, and lab draw via venipuncture. IV
skills, PICC line or Midline care, and dressing changes are
required. SQ port access and deaccess will also be needed. The role
includes interaction with an interdisciplinary team including
physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy. Daily visits may
vary based on the needs of the home health office. Shifts may
include Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM,
with alternating weekend shifts. Travelers must have recent patient
care experience within the last 3 months and up-to-date skills.
