This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced emergency department alongside a collaborative physician and nursing team, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies Perform procedures within scope of practice Order and interpret diagnostic tests Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR Collaborate with emergency physicians, consultants, and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient care Requirements: Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program Active Florida license Emergency Medicine experience required ACLS and BLS (PALS preferred) DEA certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ED environment Brooksville, Florida is a charming small city on the edge of Florida’s Nature Coast, known for its historic downtown, rolling hills, and easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and nearby Gulf Coast beaches.
