SPCA Florida, is seeking an experienced shelter veterinarian who wants to make a difference in a positive environment. Join our dynamic Shelter Vet and her loyal team of dedicated technicians who are changing the lives of homeless animals in Polk County.Our tight knit community is a great place to call home with lots of sunshine!   • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school in general practice
  • Active, non-restricted state veterinary license
    • Current DEA license or ability to obtain
    • Experience with high volume spay/neuter
    • Experience with shelter medicine practices
    • Positive leadership
      • Invested in building trusting relationships with volunteers, colleagues, and the community
      • Mindset and desire to grow skills, and mentor staff to do the sameExperience
