This is an opportunity to be among the first teammates in a startup with research-backed medical science. - -Job Summary - - -Under the -leadership -of the -Clinical Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for -the initial evaluation and intake process with potential patients; manages the day-to-day pre and post treatment and maintains a multidisciplinary dialogue with the team to ensure positive treatment outcomes. The Nurse Navigator maintains a caseload of patients and documents progress in the Electronic Medical Record ("EMR" -). Essential Functions -* - - - - - - - - -Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide white glove healthcare services to an exclusive clientele. - - - - - - - - - -Performs the initial intake process with all clients (e.g. discussing and recording of medical history data, performing intake assessment, capturing all notes within the EMR and reporting to physicians). - - - - - - - - -Performs ongoing case management for a caseload of clients to ensure proper internal collaboration across disciplines so that the clients are able to extract maximum benefit from the hyperbaric therapy -treatments. - - - - - - - - -Attends to the hyperbaric chamber with clients on a daily basis and able to undergo exposure up to three (3) atmospheric pressure while ensuring patient safety within the chamber, attending to emergency medical needs during treatment, communicating with the chamber operator continuously, and taking charge of all patient safety during two (2) hour dive time. - - - - - - - - -Meets with clients at staged intervals to ensure compliance with treatment regimens, assessments, and perform external care coordination as necessary; reviews results from medical tests. - - - - - - - - -Collaborates with the client relations team during the client assessment phase to both assess potential clients for appropriateness of therapy as well as introduce clients to the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT) from a medical perspective. - - - - - - - - -Supervises portions of the extensive pre and post treatment assessment process to ensure proper data collection and streamlining of the experience for clients. - - - - - - - - -Supervises daily treatments from a clinical perspective, in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Manager, Hyperbaric Program/Technical Manager and chamber attendant team. - - - - - - - - -Maintains a high level of client engagement to drive not just client satisfaction, but rather exceed -clients' -expectations of hospitality; provides emotional support when needed. - - - - - - - - -Maintains a high level of client engagement to drive not just client satisfaction, but rather exceed -clients' -expectations of hospitality. - - - - - - - - -Creates an environment for open communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams. - - - - - - - - -Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job role. - - - - - - - - -May perform other duties/projects as assigned.Education: - - - - - - - - -Active State of Florida or multistate RN License required; A.S. or B.S. in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support, (BLS) certification (with AED). -Experience: -Two to three years case management experience a plus.At least two (2) to five (5) years' experience as a Registered Nurse. -Required Skills & Knowledge: -Experience in case management, disease management, home health care nursing, hospital nursing or intensive outpatient education and self-management supportSkilled in conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, problem identification and care plan development; disease management; screening for developmental issues; depression, other psychological conditions; frailty assessments; and behavioral strategies including motivational interviewing and self-management assessments.Relationship building with clients/patients and staff at all levels.Organized and resourceful self-starter; strong ability to work in a team.Intuitive to clients' needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the treatment process.Strong customer service and empathic demeanor.Must listen carefully to understand clients' goals and concerns.Must be organized.Effective and strong presentation skills.Must demonstrate efficiency in written and verbal communication.Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate strong time management skillsMust be able to make sound judgment decisions.Must be technically savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technical programs such as current/previous use of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).We offer a competitive compensation plan.
