Job Description:

American Medical Associates - A - facility located in Sebring, FL is looking for -a -strong Risk Manager!
-
Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensuring that an Occurrence Log form is initiated each month and that an appropriate supply of pre-numbered blank Occurrence Report and related statement forms are available for the RNS.
Monitoring the Occurrence Log Binder to ensure that the log form accurately reflects the number of Occurrence forms which have been removed and logged out of the Occurrence Binder.
Reviewing an Occurrence Report in a timely manner to ensure that all needed statements have been obtained, interviews/reenactments as needed have been conducted in order to complete a thorough investigation of the occurrence and will provide as needed to the members of the Morning/QA Meeting information regarding an on-going investigation.
The Risk Manager will provide on-going guidance and education to staff as needed regarding resident safety.
Researching and remaining up-to-date on clinical practices.

Qualifications:

Must have Florida RN license
Must have long term care/skilled nursing experience
Must have risk management experience
Ability to pay attention to detail
Proven leadership and management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skill
