Your Purpose
Our client provides an invaluable service in guiding their clients through the tax codes, rules, and processes. They do this with integrity, quality, and consistency. This is something that the vast majority of taxpayers don't receive from DIY or other assisted providers.
Objective Of The Role
Learn the role of an Area Manager who is responsible for the successful growth of multiple locations. Your first year will be focused on working alongside the General Manager as well as Area Managers. You will be impacting the following areas of the business: recruiting, scheduling, training, coaching, location setup, marketing, and dealing with customer and associate issues.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Impact performance to meet financial objectives of client and net revenue growth, while managing controllable expenses Ensures all locations meet company and brand standards, including set-up, tear-down, and build-out of locations Manage all aspects of local marketing, recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and managing staff in a specific geographic area Ensures the team is trained on income tax preparation, office, and system procedures. Coaching the team to continually help the team grow as individuals and impact performance Develop and manage a tax school including instructor and student recruitment Responsible for ensuring compliance with all government and franchisor regulations. Auditing locations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with administrative processes Develop a culture of teamwork and customer service Listening to employees, clients, and peers. Learn from others and share successful practices. Identify opportunities for growing the business
Skills Desired In Applicants
Implementing change in an organization Ability to work with rather than through people A minimum of 3 years of multi-unit retail management experience Self-starter, that is able to identify what needs to be done and able to perform with little supervision Strong communication skills both interpersonal, group, social media, and written Strong customer service skills Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to be flexible Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and driver's license in good standing Able to pass a background check Must be able to hold a Personal Tax Identification Number (PTIN) with the IRS Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required College degree preferred, but not required Tax knowledge is preferred, but not required
