Job Description:


The Manager-Plant II directs production, distribution, and marketing operations for branch plant, or assigned territory of multiple plants, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. This role is determined by Capital Investment in facility (s), Revenue generated, number of FTE (full time equivalent) employees managed.


Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures

Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the Company

Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees

Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division

Coordinates and assists with maintenance projects as required

Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets

Prepares operational schedules and coordinates activities to ensure quality of products meets specifications

Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization

Examines material to be delivered to verify conformance to specifications

Directs preparation of accounting records

Recommends budgets to management

Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

Purchases raw material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability

An individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software
