Hydraulics, a Singer Industrial company is looking for a manual
Machinist. Singer Industrial is one of America’s largest Industrial

opportunity. Job Summary: The primary responsibility for a manual
Machinist is to provide service to customers in repairs,
maintenance, refurbishing or rebuilding of equipment and products.
The service department machinist must always exhibit positive and
effective interaction with all customers, associates, and vendors.
This is a repair facility not a production facility.
Duties/Responsibilities: · Uphold our safety commitment in all
actions and communications as it applies in our safety manual and
procedures. · Understand, use, and maintain repair documentation
for all work performed. · Refurbish, rebuild, and replace required
components to restore equipment to required working order. · This
position is in a high-volume hydraulic repair facility, so
hydraulic experience is also a plus. · Maintain a clean work area
for safety and to expedite project completion. · This is NOT a CNC
Machine Sho p. Required Skills/Abilities: - Must be able to operate
a manual engine lathe, and drill press. - Must be familiar with
I.D. and O.D. threading and machining and know how to use precision
measuring tools - Must be able to create a single point thread -
Must be familiar with band saws and abrasive saws. - Attend the
required training programs on products, services and
self-development programs offered by or through Singer Industrial -
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and using equipment and sitting at a
desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50
pounds at times.
