Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to serve multiple
elementary schools in Bradenton, FL, within the School District of
Manatee County. This contract role runs through the current school
year, with assignments ending by May 29, 2026. Candidates must be
able to work on-site across three Title 1 campuses, each with
unique special education needs. Responsibilities include evaluating
and providing speech-language therapy services to early childhood
and elementary-aged students, including those with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), Extensive Special Education (ESE) classifications,
and integrated pre-kindergarten programs. You'll manage your
caseload independently in schools without additional SLP support
and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Qualifications
and experience desired: Valid Florida SLP license; Masters degree
preferred Clinical Fellow Year candidates are considered;
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) only considered if
supervised by a Master's-level SLP on-site two days per week with
responsibilities including evaluations and IEP documentation
Experience with diverse student populations, including ASD and ESE
early childhood units Ability to work full-time onsite across
multiple schools with flexibility and strong organizational skills
Locations of assignment: Ballard Elementary School Sea Breeze
Elementary School Abel Elementary School (March through May
