Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available to support a diverse K-12 student population across multiple schools in the Sanford, FL area. This contract role, scheduled through the current school year ending in late May 2026, involves providing therapeutic services to approximately 100 students spread across several elementary, middle, and high schools. The role requires on-site presence and delivers comprehensive caseload management within a supportive educational setting. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs in a school environment - Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) - Manage caseload effectively across multiple school sites, adapting schedules as necessary to meet student needs - Complete required documentation, procedural agreements, and timesheets accurately and in a timely manner - Participate in district-specific onboarding and credentialing processes Qualifications & Experience: - Valid Professional Physical Therapist license required - School-based physical therapy experience preferred but not mandatory - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families - Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment Location: - Multiple school sites located in Sanford, FL, covering elementary through high schools including but not limited to Tavares Elementary, Eustis Middle, Mount Dora High School, and others within the district Benefits: - Structured onboarding and support through district-led credentialing - Exposure to a varied caseload across multiple schools enhancing professional growth - Opportunity to impact student development and academic success in a full-time capacity This role requires timely completion of prescreen interviews, which are conducted flexibly between 9-11 am and 2-3 pm EST.
