Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support
middle school students in the Sanford, FL area. This contract role,
spanning the current school year, offers both full-time and
part-time options working within Seminole County Public Schools to
provide essential speech-language services to students in grades 6
through 8. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized speech
and language interventions tailored to student needs - Collaborate
with school staff and families to support student communication
development - Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document
progress according to district guidelines - Provide services across
one or multiple middle schools, potentially in an itinerant
capacity for part-time roles - Maintain compliance with state
licensure and ASHA certification standards Qualifications and
Experience: - Masters degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication
Science Disorders, or related field - Valid Florida State License
for Speech Language Pathology - Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC) from ASHA - Experience working with middle school-aged
children preferred - Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week) or
part-time (approximately 17.5 hours/week) Work Environment and
Logistics: - On-site presence expected with possible hybrid
arrangements to be discussed - Positions available at multiple
middle schools, including options to split time between locations -
Contract duration through May 29, 2026, with immediate start
preferred Position Benefits: - Competitive pay scale commensurate
with experience, ranging from $39 to $51 per hour - Opportunity to

credentialing and participation in a prescreening interview
process. Candidates are encouraged to submit availability for
