Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY : The
Administrative Support Assistant is a entry-level position that
provides administrative support services to any department within
SCC, allowing the individual the opportunity to learn and advance
with SCC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides administrative
support to the Office Support department, back up coverage for the
Reception team, as well as any other internal department, as
requested. Assists in training entry-level Office Support
Assistants for later advancement. Prepares supplies for new
employees, and collects supplies for departing employees Maintains
the department supply cabinet, as well as the required inventory
for the client training manuals. Assists with lunch distribution
for employees and clients. Complies with all approved procedures,
directives and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB
SPECIFICATIONS: Education Required: High School Diploma,
Associate’s Degree or Business Certification is preferred.
Experience Required: A minimum of one year experience working
within a business environment is required. Skills Required:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
The ability to handle multiple tasks as well as to define
priorities and respond accordingly. The ability to work in a
fast-paced environment. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and
Excel knowledge is required. Must be detail-oriented. Physical
