Job DescriptionThe individual selected to fill this Human Resources Benefits role will support the Total Rewards organization. This position will specifically support the corporate pension plan services work directly with vendors who support ongoing pension administration function, including that following activities: FICA tax determinations with regard to nonqualified benefits coordinating personalized communication for senior executives, responsible for review of pension communication materials, such as Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Summary of Material Modification (SMMs), extensive research to support corporate ERISA attorneys in litigation cases involving defined benefit plans, as well as pension claims and appeals cases requiring comprehensive analysis and professional and detailed written responses. Provide support to Benefits Compliance and Benefits Finance in gathering and analyzing data for various data engagements. Research and respond to pension issues that have been escalated from vendors and business areas. The individual selected for this position must be an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player who shares knowledge and experience to identify and implement process improvements. They should be a self-starter with the ability to effectively influence and communicate, build strong relationships, and become a trusted advisor and change agent. The individual selected should possess Defined Benefits knowledge and experience, and is able to demonstrate the ability to research complex Defined Benefit issues, proactively identify resources, analyze data, formulate actionable recommendations/options and/or propose effective solutions to drive initiatives to closure. This person would be required to manual calculate and interpret finding of complex pension formulas.Basic Qualifications-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline-10+ years experience in Defined Benefit/Pension administration -Demonstrated experience with implementing process improvements-Ability to interact effectively with employees and leaders at all levels-Excellent oral and written communication skills, coaching and relationship building skills-Strong analytical skills, including the use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)-Ability to maintain a high sense of integrity, urgency and confidentiality-Experienced in interpreting and using pension formulas.-100% remote work is dependent on location; open for discussion.Desired skills-10+ years of experience in Lockheed Martin Defined Benefit Administration-Demonstrated experience with Total Rewards systems, policies, and procedures-Strong aptitude and demonstrated examples of continuous learning in pension plan administration-Demonstrated experience building strong client relationships.-Demonstrated experience reconciling pension payments and accounts.-Familiarity and experience with pension recordkeeping systems.-LMPeople and/or SAP systems knowledge-CEBS certificationEEOLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Colorado Pay StatementBenefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.Pay Rate:In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $88,400 - $147,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
